Black Chickpeas (Kala Chana) Boiling Ingredients

  • Black Chickpeas (kala chana) - 1 cup
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Cloves - 3 to 4
  • Tej patta (bay leaf) - 1 portion
  • Haldi - 1 pinch
  • Dalchini (cinnamon) - Half (1/2) stick
  • Water - 2 to 3 cups

Nutri (Soya Chunks) Ingredients

  • Water - 1 cup
  • Nutri (soya chunks)-1/2cup
  • Salt - 1 tsp

Shami Kabab Ingredients

  • Blended black chickpeas (kala chana) - 1 cup
  • Blended soya chunks - Half (1/2) cup
  • Roasted Besan - Half (1/2) cup
  • Coriander - to taste
  • Grated ginger - 1 tbsp
  • Green chili - 1 portion or to taste
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Kabab Masala - 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder - 1 tsp
  • Shahi Jeera - 1 tsp
  • Olive Oil - to shallow fry

Kabaab Spice (Masala)

  • Coriander (dhaniya) seeds 1 tbsp
  • Cardamom (elaichi) 1 tsp
  • Cloves 1/2 tsp
  • Bay Leaf (Tej patta) 2 to 3 leaves
  • Cinnamon 1 small portion
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Mace (javitri) 1/2 tsp
  • Nutmeg (jaifal) 1/2 tsp

  • Thick Plain Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Coriander (Dhaniya) leaves 1/2 cup
  • Mint leaves 1/2 cup
  • Ginger 2 to 3 small portions
  • Green chili 1 to 2 portion
  • Cashew nuts to taste
  • Black salt to taste
  • Chat Spice (Masala) 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red Chili Powder to taste
